Btw, have you ever seen the movie, "The Butterfly Effect?" It's an older movie, but I just watched it again on t.v. It's a drama, but I think it's pretty good.

Yes, I know my grandfather loves visits from me. Only the last four times I came by he wasn't at home. And he never visits me. It's too far for him and he finds a taxi too expensive, however he can easy afford it and it's in fact only a short drive.

And no, I don't think it's stupid that you have vacation because of carnival. Everyone here has also vacation because of it. Well, the south of the Netherlands then, not sure how it's above the rivers. I agree with Selena, whatever the reason is that you have vacation, vacation is always a good thing.

Does your grandfather have a phone? I'm guessing maybe not. But maybe you could leave a note for him or something, or call (if he has a phone) and schedule a time to see him if he is not there today. And how odd that he won't visit you? Either way, I hope he is there for you to visit today.

It is a good movie, if you like dramas. It's different, but good.

Well, at least you know your grandfather is doing good. That's definitely a good thing. And I STILL hope he is at home to greet you today. And I know what you mean about only understanding certain things when you know someone. I have people like that in my own family where you have to know them to understand how they are.

My dreams always show way to much of me
Though there are some dreams that I have that really make me go crazy, it's normally when I want to go somewhere but I can't, and I always stay in that same place...really frustrating and annoying dreams

Hmm well yes, no.. I like comedies, thrillers/horrors, romantic movies (either it's drama or comedy or anything else ) and historical movies the most. But also animation and action movies. As long if there are good and I like them. I don't have really a favourite genre.

I had a weird dream last night, too!! But I have been having either weird dreams, or nightmares lately. I was surrounded by a forest fire last night in my dream.

I am the same. I like almost any type of genre. I do not like "Old West" movies. (Except for things like Back to the Future where they travel there.) I like other movies set back in time, but not Cowboy movies, is I guess what I mean. I don't like those. (No surprise, cuz I hate country music. ) Just as long as the movie is good. Favorite movies...probably romantic comedies. I'm a sucker for a good "chick flick." Hehe...

@Nadine, I don’t know if my dreams show too much of me. Most of the times they are just weird, far away from reality, but adventurous. But now and then I have also dreams that I am stuck at some place or situation (with mostly annoying people, grrrrrr) and then I am really busy to escape (no, not a escape the room or anything ). But I always get out, however it takes mostly a lot of effort. Really exhausting that kind of dreams. And very rarely is have boring, realistic dreams, which could be just a normal day in my live. Actually it did happen already or it’s gonna happen.

@Selena, I don’t really like westerns either. With some exceptions like “once upon a time in the west”. And I love the “back to the future” movies too. I think I have seen all three at least 5 times. Hmm the last time was quite a long time ago. I think I am up to rewatch them . I really don’t like western music either. However I think the oneline(?) dancing is quite funny to look at, hehe.
