It wasn’t long till I got home from a hard working day at college, as I un-locked the door the smell of Jane’s food filled my body with joy as I know that I was going to get a good meal. I walked into the dining room dragging my bag slowly behind me and say my big plastic bag sitting neatly on the chair.
“Jane is this my project or is it something else??” I shouted to her so she could hear me over her loud frying.
“yea it is, I put it there so you wouldn’t forget to finish it off, oh and your dad won’t be back till tomorrow they’ve prolonged his Businesses meeting.” she shouted back to me. I walked over to the bag and pulled out a big piece of black paper, a1 size to be correct, I then reached deeper into the bag and pulled out lots of smaller pieces of paper and some pictures of my friend from collage. I took my glue stick when I noticed a dark figure in my garden, I didn’t know who it was but it sent chills up my spine. I ran over to the cabinet ad grabbed my dad golfing trophy and headed over to the back door. I took a few deep breath and un-locked the door, I pushed the handle down trying to be as quite as I can be, it felt like the world had stopped and everything was about to end. I pulled the door opened then put one foot outside still taking deep heavy breaths I looked around the corner of the wall and saw that nothing was there, then suddenly out of nowhere a strange feeling went through my body I felt like I let something into the house that I shouldn’t off.
“your dinners ready, I just leave it on the side here make sure you eat the hole thing ok!! What are you doing with your dad’s trophy??” she asked me with a worried look on her face.
“um I am err seeing if it still shines in the sun??” I told her with a confused look on my face, a look like what the ****ing hell am I say have lost it.
“oh ok then, just put it back before you brake it you know your dad would flip!!” she told me with concern.
I shut the door and took in one last deep breath and thought to myself I cant be losing it I am only 16. I placed my dad trophy back on the shelf and slowly closed the cupboard, I went back to doing my project whilst eating my dinner, I noticed that it tasted a bit funny not like she normally made it, her chicken noodle soup was the best but today it was not so good.
