I can't finish it all tonight, but I'm almost done with Day 4 (out of 5) so I can already post the first few days
EDIT: Here are the first 3 days, for those who want to read it. Day 4 and 5 will be here tomorrow I think.
Night 1:
During the bustrip we had some accidents. A girl in my bus fell asleep. She was dreaming and made sad and angry faces all the time, pretty funny and soon the whole bus crowded around her. But when it was time to stop they tried to wake her. Nothing happened! She didn’t wake up! It was because she has diabetes, I don’t know why that caused it, but anyway, everybody was kinda shocked, one of the teachers came to the back, they lay her on the ground. I went out of the bus, I couldn’t do anything and I would only be in the way and when I came back she was a bit better, but not entirely woken yet. They made her drink tiny sips of Extran (with lots of sugar in it) and suddenly she woke up. She ate some sweets with loads of sugar and that was it! Funny actually, I never knew something like this could happen. Halfway trough the trip someone stood up, but couldn’t strech her knee. When we got in Austria she had surgery (!) the next day and went back home.
Day 1:
We got there! Finally, after 13 hours in a full, hot bus. They told us what our rooms were and we (me and four of my friends) seemed to have a very comfortable room (they told us that, we hadn’t seen it yet), better than all the others. So we were very happy, anxious to see our room. Damn people didn’t open up our rooms yet! We had to change clothes (we were going skiing right away) in the toilets and showers and other tiny little rooms were everybody was changing! Argh, I was SO angry! It was just WAY too small! Well, after that we got on the bus again, got our ski’s and our shoes and sticks and all, so we went up the mountain. We got BLOWN AWAY up there! There was a storm or something and I was sooooo cold! That damn wind was speeding around my ears, I just froze. They decided not to let us take our first lesson up there and told us to go down again. We had waited there for an hour just to go down again! So we had to wait for 20 minutes in the queue again, because éverybody was going down. In the valley we had to walk for 10 minutes with those heavy ski’s to a place where we could practise. I’m still having nightmares about that first lesson. I was SO useless!! I was the worst of our group, I couldn’t even break! Omb, I still hate that, it was so bad
So, we got back to the hotel and finally saw our room. And they were right! It was a big room with lots of space, a balkony, a tv just perfect! We loved it!
Dinner: Soop, very salt, everybody hated it, I loved it, I love salt! After the soop we had a nice piece of meat with macaroni-things and sauce and there was salad. The dessert was icecream. A very good dinner.
Day 2:
Skiing was just as bad as day 1. At first it went okay, but after lunch I fail completely. The teacher even told me to stay and practise while he and the others went down to a harder piste (dunno the word for it). I was so angry with him, I think he saw it and decided to let me go with them anyway
.
Dinner: Soop with pancake in it! Meat, potatoes and salad. For dessert, well, it wasn’t pudding. It was something really weird and nobody ate it. When we held a spoon about 20 cm above it and let it drop, it bounced 10 cm back into the air!!!!
That night my friend stood watching out of the window trough a gap between the curtains. Our room was in a seperate building from the others and we looked out on their building. One of the teachers was standing in the stairway, listening if people were going to sleep. She had a light on and all óur lights were off. My friend suddenly yelled at us and told us to look out the window. It was kinda funny, but not funny to tell here, but she was picking her nose in the middle of the stairway! She had nó idea we could see her!! My friend asked her the next day: ‘Do you have to check on everyone, every night?’ ‘Yeah’ ‘Ohw, that must be very boring then!’ ‘Yeah, it is!’ OMB When she told me she had asked that I just couldn’t help myself, I was dying!!
Day 3:
We had an other ski-teacher and there were too many pupils so we got to go free-skiing in the morning. We went somewhere down, had a lot of fun! I was doing pretty well! After lunch we had a lesson with the ski-instructor and we did a very cool thing, called ‘Autobahn’, ‘Highway’ in english. It was such a great thing to do, we went down pretty fast but not too steep, just relaxed.
Dinner: This was really the worst thing that had evert happened to me. We had POTATO-SOOP! With the potatoes of day 2 in it! And some guys from my class didn’t like those potatoes that day so they SPIT in it! I knew that too late, I already ate something, just to be polite because it tasted horrible. If I had known that before I would have NEVER eaten it! After that we had chips with schnitzel and salad (the salad contained the macaroni of day 1!). Dessert was fruit bowl.
That night we went ‘out’. I thought, just like a lot of other people, let’s put on a t-shirt, I have a coat, so in that disco it’ll be all right. The people told us to leave our coats in the bus!!! I literally FROZE! We had to wait outside until we were allowed to go in. Damn, I was sooooo cold! And I just hated that place, it was a disco with some stupid Austrian people dancing incredibly weird. The music was WAY too loud, my eardrums got blown away. And yes, I háve been to disco’s before, but this one just had a very sharp beat or something, anyway, I was glad, cuz one of my friends had migraine and she went back up to the bar where it was quieter. Great place to be! Just a little chit-chat, nice and warm, a little background music from the disco below us. Perfect!
Our balkony was attached to that of 2 of our teachers. And one of them is, well, what can I say, prétty good-looking! (I know, I act like one of those stupid high-school girls falling for a gym-teacher, but he ís handsome and that’s everyone’s opinion) So he came by that night to check on my friend with migraine. We were all dressed in our pyjama’s. He come knocking on our window, we all whisper: ‘omb, no, damn, i’m in my pyjama’s! oh f**k, Lonneke! Go on, open the curtains you’re still in your clothes!’ Lonneke was the girl with the migraine, but she was brushing her teeth and had her belt open, so funny, we were just a bunch of stupid cows, really, that must’ve been a funny sight!
