It is one of 2 things I can think of...

1. I have heard it is bad luck to have a cat walk in front of you. Greeks spit for good luck. It may be trying to get thier luck back. I don't get the hand on the head this in this case.

2. I really think it is this one: The cat walks in front. The person sneezes from allergies & wipes itchy eyes. .... maybe.


...ooohh ...oooohhh I have one more:

A silly alien tells a Lilli that cats taste good for breakfast. The Lilli licks it as it walks by & spits fuzz out of her mouth in disgust. Then bangs head with fist while saying to herself... "what was I thinking"...
