DSL is what I could afford if they had it where I live, but they don't.

So...I can only have either dial up (at a slower than normal speed for some reason), or cable/broadband, but that one is about $70 month for that alone.

So...not in the near future, unfortuantely.

I'm hoping to get a new computer this weekend, though.

That is very expensive, I wouldn't spent my money on that either.

But actually I don't know what cable costs in the Netherlands, but we don't have cable in this area yet, so I just use ADSL.

I don't know exactly what I pay for our internet because we have a combined telephone/internet subscription, but it is not that much.

Btw DSL? Is that something like ADSL?

I have never heard of that. But since the letters are similar to my DSL, I assume they are the same, or nearly so.
