@ OneBun....It's a new Gateway laptop. It has Windows Vista which actually has some cool things about it. I was afraid to try a new operating system. They even upgraded me for the same price at Best Buy because they didn't have the one I wanted in stock.

That's even cooler. It's noce when you get better than expected. LOL That happens so rarely. I love using a laptop too. It's what I use on the weeends & at night when I'm on line at home. pffttt it sucks. I keep telling my boss I'm gonna "accidently" attach ane electrical magnent to the motherboard so the company will have to get me a new one. i'm getting worried about my laptop. It's been glitchy lately, but it's almost 3 years old now & well loved. I may have to get a new one
My husbun should worry cuz if it breaks he loses the TV (if ya know what I mean)

@ OneBun....I don't have room for a desktop in my postage stamp sized studio apartment.
Hehe... We use Windows 2000 here at my office, too. But our computers are still pretty new. Our IT guy bought them, and made them pretty nice and fast.
And oh, darn....you might have to get a new laptop. FUN!!!

Well, none of us Americans have passed out yet & It appears many of those we have met outside this country are much tougher than we are, so that can't be it.
