@ Cousin...Sounds like summers here.
Last summer we got to 112 F (about 45 C) and people and animals died and got really sick.

Once we had a very hot summer and the new Disney Park, Animal kingdom, Lost all of their african plains animals. It was sad, but the joke was People in Africa say. It's so Hot, It's Florida Hot!Life is not a problem to be solved, but a mystery to be lived"The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up."

@ Cousin...Ya...our summers get pretty miserable. Especially without air conditioning.
I think I'll go to Africa this summer where it's cooler.
@ Husbun....Aww..that is sad.
I can see why that became the running joke, though! And you guys suffer the high humidity, too.

Wifey - Yes we do. But We also have nice breezes from both coasts that cover the state and makes rain. It's only bad when theres a Low Pressure system out there stoping all the wind.
Mitty - I don't think so. We all just live in Hot Climate areasLife is not a problem to be solved, but a mystery to be lived"The best way to cheer yourself up is to try to cheer somebody else up."

@ Cousin.....I think part of it is. Because our summers NEVER used to get this hot when I was a kid. And we certainly didn't have heat spells that lasted 2 -3 weeks at a time. Do you?
@ Husbun....Ooh! Nice. Breezes make it a bit more bearable.

@Husbun...You might be right.
I have no idea. For whatever reason, though, I know that our summers are much more hot than they ever were.
I'm not too knowledgeable about global warming or the Earth's life cycle.
I guess it's another "Robert Burns" for me.
@ Cousin...How many months does it stay that hot?
