I need to go to the dentist myself. I've needed to have my wisdom teeth out for some time now, but I don't have insurance so it would cost me at least $2000 to do it. Or spend about $200 a month to get insurance.

That's a thing I like about Holland, it's mandatory to have health insurance, and the government pays a part, so it only costs +/-90euro... Maybe your next president will do something about it

Probably not, there's too much money in the health industry between the doctors, insurance companies and drug companies. It's one of those things that will probably never change.
