If you are subscribed to a thread and you want a email notification when someone posts, then your email inbox will be full of mails since you know how fast moving Chit Chat is. I would suggest you to unsubscribe.
Are you getting email notfications aswell?

What is email notification?
If you post a new thread, or reply to an existing thread, you can choose to be notified by email when someone else replies to that thread. Email notification is also referred to as 'Thread Subscription'.

If you don't want to subscribe to Chit Chat anymore then go to the User Contol Panel. Click on the option "List Subscriptions". It's on the left side.
You will see the threads you are subscribed to. Check the box and select Delete Subscription from the drop down menu to the right.

@jenni my day was pretty good cos i was on a roll wif the riddle till level 42 and now im stuck i watched bb for a bit but i hate it when its live and d sound gets cut off so i just watch the catch up i still hate charlie! grrrr shes friggin annoyin
