I can tell ya that there are parts in Norway that are absolutely breath taking. I have travelled once in the northern parts with da train and... I can't describe it. It's SO COOL!

ok skell its 00.30 here and a bit dark now- but its the light season so its daylight at about 4.00 now- the summer is usually short but intense-and this year very very wet, with floods and destruction
my town was split in two under the innundation-at the time of the annual jazz festival- but people managed to get to the concerts anyway. norway is a good country- we earn good wages, but the tax is high-39% basic- but we have a free health service and security for people that dont work- one year paid maternity benefit (at 80%) -the scenery is spectacular, the people are reserved publicaly and wild in private-and we make the best cakes in the world

@ Vivi...I will keep in touch, thanks. And Norway sounds so completely different than the USA to me! Sounds like a nice place, and it sounds like you're quite happy with it.
@ Mom...I'm tryin...been keeping busy though...have company until the 13th. Hard to get to bed at a decent hour, even when I'm so exhausted.
@Skellisin....The farthest I've been is Missouri. Not quite sure that's a vacation.
@ Dazed....DAAAAAAAAAAAAAZED!! Hi!! How's it goin'? Ya, I thought initially she was only gonna be gone for about 5 days, but I guess it was more like weeks.
