today is going to be near 100, oh I know I don't know how people can go out and do anything! haven't really been up to anything to hot really to go outside so mostly stayied on the computer and go out when cooler to exercise, but even those its still hot! What have you been up to?

The site looks cool. Sounds like a great idea to have a directory for that sort of thing. Is this something you've always wanted to do, or have been interested in? We have a few decent theatre companies in our town, but as you know theatre doesn't have the same spark here in the US as it does in Europe. I love it. Some of the best performances I've ever seen were live theatre. We used to go see an improv group every thursday and they were hilarious. Never seen anything big like Broadway or anything though.Comment

Yeah Teeodd it's what i have my degree in... the hope is that one day me and my partner can make the company be sustainable so that becomes both our full time jobs but at the minute we both have to have full time jobs as well ( although we are both off sick at the minute ha ha, dave's been off for a long time now as he's just had an operation on his arm to move some nerves around Euugh) but that's the plan...
live theatre over here is very big especially where i live in the midlands... it's a very creative and arty place so it's something i've always been interested in.. the site needs updating on a few things and still needs some stuff tweaking on it.. and we've now got loads of photos to put on there but not had chance...

I really am a bartender. I got my degree in chemistry about 2yrs ago but I haven't found a job in it that I really feel strongly about. I LOVE the restaurant industry and have been in it since I was 17. I used it to work my way through school. Eventually I would love to own my own restaurant where I could have free range on all of the creative aspects of it. I have done everything there is to do in a restaurant from cooking to bartending and management, this knowledge has given me a great understanding on how to run a place profitably. I like chemistry and majored in it because it was something I did well in, but it was always pointing towards the eventual goal of making enough money to buy my own place. I'd either want to own a nice little fine dining Italian place or a large sports bar. However neither of these are viable options in the city I live in because we are saturated with sports bars and we actually have the most restaurants per person than any other place in the US. Sooooooo until I get off of my A** and move I'm kinda stuck at the momentComment
