Mini Demond, Becky was forced to join the army in her country. Obviously, she didn't want that to happen. Becky's upset because she had to leave her home and family to do something that she didn't want to do, and it's physically hard on her too.

Everyone else is upset because a)they are sympathetic and feel Becky's pain and b)they will miss having her around Gamershood, since she's been around here forever. Many people have grown very close (emotionally) and developed deep friendships here, even if it is over the internet. Consider how you would feel if a close friend/family member was forced to leave home and do something they were against.

You may not have known Becky well (or at all, since she's been gone for most of the time you've been a member), but others care about her as if she was part of their family. That's why it's a big deal.
