Don't get swamped in your work dear! I can imagine there's a lot to figure out the first few weeks, but make sure you take some time of! Teaching can be very stressfull, especially with the feeling of big responsability towards the kids. Take good care of yourself!

Ah, I'll try not to... but a teacher's day just isn't over when the kids leave. You've got to plan, grade, organize, clean, etc. sometime!

I know that... A friend of mine is a teacher too, after her first year she was totally wiped out. The long days, hard work, nagging parents and the stress got to her. That's why I said it

Eh. I expect all of that. But it's worth it--I love teaching, and even when my kids make me want to pull my--or THEIR--hair out, I still love them and want to do what's best for them.
