My mom was the same way! You go to school unless you are running a fever or throwing up. And now I expect the same of my kids.... if only their parents felt the same way.

I love teaching, but it's pretty stressful/exhausting sometimes. It'll help when I finally get a paycheck and can reap some rewards.

Crimson: it so sucked when you didn't feel good and were made to go and learn it was so bad lol thats good you like to teach! I bet your one of the nice teachers that everyone loves! lol I remember getting teachers who just didn't care treated the kids so bad! it's sad How long have you been teaching now?

@Shining--this is my first year. I've spent the last 3 years just trying to get hired, so I've been substituting/tutoring for different districts before now. Anda.... no, I'm not a favorite teacher... I have high expectations for my students, and they're trying to test the boundaries right now. So I'm not exactly nice all the time. However, I do try to make learning interactive and fun for the kids... but bottom line, I'm not there to be their friend--I'm there to help them learn and become productive citizens in the real world.

Erm. I'll get off my soap box now.

I have 3 bedrooms and a big living room... I could definitely fit you guys in, as long as you don't mind sleeping on the floor! Cause the master bedroom's the only place that'll have a bed. And puppies are always welcome.

Crimson:3 years wow, at least tho you were in the teaching feild that would help your experience and get to know students. that's good tho that you have good expections for them, they will be greatful when then get older!
