@Nef~ My girls started in August, the middle I think. They go to school in the mountains now, so they start early because of snow days. If it doesn't snow, they will be off early too. I only get to see them on the weekends.

It's different every year, and differet per region, but somewhere between mid and late august

Well, I think the holiday starts earlier in our country, the holiday lasts for 6 or 7 weeks

@nef~ don't think of school as torture. Think about all of your friends. After school is over, you all go out and get jobs and then the torture begins. Enjoy school. It is fun....plus the better you do, the less torture you will have in your job someday.

no,we don`t get summer jobs,all we do at summer is sleep`till 1PM and then sit in front of the PC

No, I mean when you grow up...after school is completed. I grew up in the same city, it was small. All of my friends I met when I was young, 2nd grade or so. We were like a family. Since I graduated, I only have seen probably four of them.

@nef~ well, everyone is different. Work is longer than school, and you don't get the summer off. Plus, usually, you have a boss riding you, worse than a teacher. I think one of the purposes of school is to prepare you for that. But have fun, no matter where you are or when...thats my secret.
