I didn't see that post. But as for coyotes......shoot them! They kill my dogs and cats on our farm.

If you were a caveman I wouldn't mind... jk, In holland some rabbits and deers have to be shot due to overpopulation too, so I get that. I just couldn't imagine doing it myself :s I'm kinda hypocrite about that, coz I do eat meat

@Iva well then, we're even cause I'm a vegetarian lol.... just kidding, I eat meat, but enjoy a good salad once in a while.... Oh, and coyotes can even kill a cow if in a pack... nasty little bast***..

No Iva we have large dogs, but coyotes lure them away. They hunt in packs and lure them away, kind of like wolves. They seperate them by leading them away from their place that they are guarding.

A german sheppard doesn't stand a chance against them

Lol.. I have a couple of Scottish Terriers.... cute little things bark and act as brave as wolves.... but run scared at the sound of thunder or loud clapping of hands... I wish I could get bigger dogs, but small house and small income... lol

Oh, how I would love to live on a farm... *stares at horizon dreamily* I am actually thinking about emigrating to have my own farm Holland is too small and too packed...

@Iva - it's not luxurious by any means - but it isn't crowded! Draw backs are having to go 13 miles to the grocery store and mess with the snow

Oh I know that, I have no luxurious romantic picture of farming! I know it's hard work! I don't know if I would want just to farm, I'd like to do something with horses aswell I've had so many different jobs, from bartender, to projectmanager at a bank, to (currently) animal shelter and the work that involves the outdoor, animals and physical work just suits me best.
You aren't looking for extra hands on the farm are you?
