  • Very good kitty, you're a fast learner
Really? So you're actually gonna go to bed early? So un-Escape-like But very wise Stupid home- and housework! Did you do anything fun this weekend?

And yes, I love the game, but... I'm only in the second room

    • I smart kitty!

I'm thinking of going to bed by about 1 a.m. Yeah, that's early for me, definitely. But yeah, I went with some friends last night and finally saw the play at the Junior College. Aida. Very good. The acting was...well...let me just say the MUSIC was great, and so were the singing and the costumes. One of my friends (who is also an actor) told me that in musicals, so many times the acting needs a bit of help, but the singing is great. That was definitely the case. And such a bittersweet love story it was. I just loved it! The musical scores were written by Eric Clapton. Good stuff.

What about you? Have you done anything fun?

Took me awhile to get to the second room. I sorta missed something in the first room that sorta made me stuck. Hehe.

      • Oh, so you've seen Aida now? Cool! Ah, who cares about the acting But yeah, it usually is one or the other, only the really really talented people can act AND sing A love story, huh? Tell me, and be honest, have you cried

Nothing much this weekedn, my sister is sick (flu) so I took care of her (Chicken soup, fruit basket, movies, blankets ) And me and my other sister want to go on a weekend trip soon, so I've been checking out the places I want to do! Thinking about Rome, or St. Petersburg, or New York

Just got out myself, that's why it took me a while to reply Got stuck in the first room too I loved it!

        • Nah, I didn't cry. (*whispers* But I do cry at movies sometimes. ) Funny thing is, I don't cry much. One of my friends has seen me cry ONE time in 8 years. And it was for a VERY good reason. I think I'm a weirdo. Oh well.

And yeah, places like Broadway! They can act AND sing. I can't sing to save my life, and I need a TON more acting classes to be good. So I really can't say much about it. Hehe.

Aw...your sis is sick? Poor thing. At least she has a good sis taking care of her! A trip, huh? Sounds fun! I hope you have a blast wherever you go! I want to go to Rome and New York someday, too.

          • Haha, I don't cry much either So we're both weirdos
Have you ever auditioned for a part in a play/movie or something? I believe that, especially with acting, practise makes perfect. Acting classes won't hurt of course

The funny thing is, flying to New York isn't more expensive than flying to St. Petersburg, eventhough it's much further away... I've been to Rome when I was little, but I can't remember much, and I'd love to visit again! Now I will be able to fully appreciate all the history there

            • Yay...You're now my fellow looney weirdo.

Yeah, I have auditioned only twice. I got a part the first audition. The second audition I did, I KNEW I bombed. No surprise I didn't get the part. When I am out of school, and have my B.A. I think I will audition for another play. Then I have time for it, if I get the part. And one of these days I will look for an agent, too. I do have a friend who got a part in a Pilot with Danny Glover through Paramount Pictures. Unfortunately, the pilot didn't get selected, so it never aired. But he did get a paycheck from Paramount Pictures, and he made a photo copy of it, blew it up big, and hung it on his wall.

Wow! Pricing really is weird. Also depends on the time of year. But yeah, I can imagine you couldn't fully appreciate the historical aspects of Rome as a young child.

              • Wow, a 50% success rate, not bad!! I can imagine you won't be able to fit another 'job' into your life right now... An agent could be good, they have more connections! It's a tough world though, lot's of rejections and criticism. But you can handle it, you're a tough cookie!
I once auditioned for a MTV host when they starte MTV-Holland. Got through the first two rounds but then realised it really wasn't for me, I'm very shy with camera's So I didn't continue. It was a nice experience though, and good for my confidence

                • Hehe...Ya, 50/50. Yeah, I don't ever expect to "make it big." That's just not realistic. But I'd be happy just performing plays in and around my area where I live. I live near a very large city, with a lot of places I could act. But yeah, rejection and criticism is a HUGE part of acting. You have to be able to take and accept it, without it taking too big a part of your self-esteem. I've not been out there enough to know if I could take it, but I'll try.

That amazing about the MTV thingy! How cool! But most definitely was GREAT for your confidence. Hell, even to have gotten through the FIRST round would have been a huuuuuuge hurdle! Congrats! And hey, you learned something about yourself from that experience.

                          Love the house. Hate unpacking.

Escape, yes, I had a bit too much cinnamon schnapps last night.... and fell asleep at 9:00. Then my satellite lost the signal, and the loud static woke me up. So now I'm grading papers. And you're a diva, too, little miss actress!

Tib wants outside... be back in a sec.

@Crimson.....Still unpacking? Aww...me too *whispers* and I moved at the end of August.

Hehe....Then I'm a wannabe diva. LOL. I just love drama. (That sounds funny....)

Wow! You had fun last night. Well, good morning to you.
