Iva, no actualy it didn't turn to be such a bad thing. Now I've got a shape of the number 7 in my hand. I was joking with my friends, if they just added the number 1 it would make a 17. That would be something to remember my birthday!

@simply well at first i didnt know what to do...i used to get them in crowded places...i dunno its different for me it was claustrophobia...but some ppl get it when they r alone and get worried and anxious
The best way to prevent new panic attacks is to go for a professional psychotherapeutic help. For a short term relief it might be good to consult a doctor and discuss pharmacotherapy options (e.g. SSRI or sometimes for a limited time anxiolytic drugs).

@simply u dont need anti depressants, even tho they do block out panic attacks completely...here is a list of medication that i got for myself
BENZODIAZEPINES

alprazolam (Xanax) panic, generalized anxiety, phobias, social phobias
clonazepam (Klonopin) panic, phobias, social phobia
diazepam (Valium) generalized anxiety, panic, phobias
lorazepam (Ativan) generalized anxiety, panic, phobias
oxazepam (Serax) generalized anxiety, phobias
chlordiazepoxide (Librium) generalized anxiety, phobias

oxazepam worked for me as i now dont get panic attackss anymore

@Sumi~ not to tell you what to do, but watch out for those pills. They are VERY addictive. I took xanex for panic attacks and had to take a class about it. (actually it was a depression class) I don't take xanex any more so I guess it worked for me.
