I am fine. X-mas is celebrated on 24:th of December here and I had a good time with family

:shock: how did you know i have a daughter ppllbb my little cute sweetheart honeybear lil lovemuffin and whatever other name i have for the angel.. is with her mom.. hopefully i have her ASAP, but if she's having a good time with her mom and not missing me then that's fine.

why do the celebrate Jesus's birth a day before there?

Well, it's a long history why that is. In Sweden it has a special meaning going back to the days of the vikings, when actually there was a' ready a tradition that was sorta conformed into a Christian one. Only this particular ritual was preformed during eve not day and so it was easier to translate the Christian tradition of the celebration of the birth of Chirst to be celebrated on Christmas EVE not day After a while the Swedish tradition developed, which was to dip a piece of bread into a broth or meat soup on the eve before X-mas and so this day was called the "dipping day". Practical since there was not much food to spare before X-mas and also ppls would not eat meat before X-mas day so it was a way to get the taste of meat in without actually eating meat
