Oh, yay.You remember me!
After so long too!
Where have I been? I forgot how nice gamershood was, and forgot about Gamershood altogether. Today, I saw it onmy links, then I (after two years) remembered Gamershood. And forgot my login info. After several guesses (underscore or not, 4 or 9, etc.), I managed to "hack in" to my account.
Sounds like a difficult job I am glad the link was still there and you are back with us

@Lilli, Well, yes I would love some nectar! I feel a bit weak, so I could use some.
@Escape, Now don't make me blush.
Well, we have a video function on our camera and yes we made already LOTS of pictures. Oh yes, that reminds me, I have to post some new pics again this month. I promised that to a few persons.
Oh, your friend gave labor! Congrats to your friend! Is it a girl or a boy?

Pfft! But you SHOULD be proud! *feels proud of da amiga, and gives her some non-alcoholic carrot rum fortified with lots of vitamins*
Oh, yay! Yes, I do believe I was on one of those persons who was anxious to see more pics. She's such an adorable baby!
Yes!! She had a little boy! I haven't seen him though. I have other friends who have, and I hear he is a real cutie! And it was funny my friend said, "Not to sound like all mothers who are so often bias, but my son is a really cute baby!" LOL
@Wolfie...OMB!! *hides under da sofa, and then realizes it's only a picture* Oh! *comes out of hiding* Thank you dear favorite wolfie in da whole world! Oh, this will get him!! Thank you, dear!
Oops didn't mean to scare you now. That picture was actually taken by Mistery from her ship

spoiler about driving in winter( i gotta figure out how to put that on the spoiler]
Picture if you will, driving along a snowy highway or straight roadway for an hour or longer and then having to turn off or make a sweeping turn in the roadway only to shudder at the fact your wheels won't turn. Many accidents have been attributed to a thing called, "wheel block". There are probably several other names labelled to the problem however they all mean the same and the result is always the same.
Wheel block is when the ice and snow build up behind your front tires inside the wheel wells to the point where they will block the tires from actually turning. It is definitely not something you want to happen when you are travelling at 50 km/hr and need to make a tight turn. Although this usually occurs on the highway where you are driving in a basically straight line for a great distance, allowing the ice and snow to build up and harden without the constant turning of the wheels to knock it off, it can also occur in town if it is on the verge of touching your tires and then you drive straight for any period of time, allowing it to block.
For cars or trucks that have running boards, there seems to be a greater build up because the snow and ice have an uneven surface that it can really cling to making it very difficult to remove.
There are a couple of ways you can combat this problem. Mud flaps are one of the best. Because the mud flaps are pliable, when any amount of ice and snow begins to build up, it usually falls off because any little give in the mud flap releases the grip of the ice and snow. The other way requires you to physically remove the ice and snow with your feet by kicking it or having to use a shovel or pick pole. I still have to buy some mud flaps and trying to kick it off is next to impossible because of the way the ice grips to my wheel wells so I have to use a pick pole to jab at the ice until it breaks off. The only problem with the latter solution is that if you miss your shot, there is a good chance you will need some body repair in the spring from all the dents you put in your wheel well.
Which ever way you chose to remove the ice build up from your wheel wells, (remember, mud flaps are the best and easiest) make sure you make it part of your routine before driving. Especially if you are planning a longer trip along the highway when there is a bit of snow on the roads.
