  • Hmm. I don't know when it was written, but it's a comedy farce, and has some really great humor in it. Made me laugh a lot!

I've not heard of Rogers and Hammerstein. I'll have to watch for them.

My friend will be in West Side Story in April. So I will go see him in that.

    • Rogers and Hammerstein did The King and I. I never saw it but I read it in school. I have always wanted to see Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats too.

I did a paper on West Side Story and Romeo and Juliet now long ago. I watched that movie about a dozen times. Sadly I can sing every song in that movie by heart.

      • Oh, okay. I have heard of the King and I, though I have never had the opportunity to see it. Cats has come to San Francisco a number of times, but I have yet to see it. Have you ever seen Beach Blanket Babylon? (It might just be a San Francisco thing, I'm not sure.)

        • No can't say I have. Hairspray is the last musical I saw.

          • Oh, okay.

Btw, just saw your edit about Romeo & Juliet and West Side Story. I have only read them both, but amazingly, I have not seen either. And hey, if you have those songs memorized, you can always audition for it sometime.

              • I have yet to karaoke. I have a feeling I'd clear the place out. I can NOT carry a tune. I sing all the time alone, but I really am horrible at it.

                • If I can sing (or try to) anybody can. Trust me, I'm not good.

                  • Yeah, I DO sing. One time, I was in the car, and my favorite band came on and I started singing. My friend was in the car with me and heard me sing the whole song. Well, a couple days later a group of us were talking about singing, and I commented that I couldn't carry a tune, and my friend said, "I know. I heard you the other day."

                    • Well, I can't sing either, so don't feel bad . Maybe you are singing the wrong songs.

                      • Thank you.

Could be. I do well on Playstation's, "Karaoke Revolutions," but that's not exactly saying whether or not you're a good singer. Someday I'd love to get voice lessons. I truly love acting, and being able to sing opens an actor up to being able to do musicals, too.

                        • Steve Whiteman gave my friends voice lessons. It may not mean much to you but he was a big name in Maryland in the 80s.

                            • I've never heard of him. But if he was a big name, that's great!! He probably really knows his stuff. Funny I don't know him. I really liked a lot of the 80's music.

Well, I think I need to take a shower and some more medicine. My head is killigng me. It was good talking to you again, Jack. Have a nice rest of your night.

                              • Hi Lilli.

@Escape ; he was the singer in Kix. They were played on MTV but were lost in time for the most part. They are still loyal to Baltimore though. They still perform once a year here.

On your other question , Hi-Keeba is from MST3K.
