Derek - Tuberculosis is a bacteria that scars the lungs, about 100 years ago it killed thousands of people, if you have it your fine untill you exert yourself too much then you break out in a coughing fit and sometimes end up coughing up blood, eventually the coughing drains your energy and you become very tired and then when its too late and the lungs are scarred you die.. but todays medical science has come far enough to treat it, so ill have to spend 4-6 months at home taking antibiotics untill i have enough energy to preform rudementary tasks.. although ill have to take antibiotics for a very long time hope that helps you understand
