Crimson- she might be dreaming about chasing something, and when you pet her she could possibly feel relieved that she finally caught it and falls back into a motionless sleep or missed the chance to catch something and is frustrated so goes back to snoozing

i dream about my deceased dog every once in a while.. and sometimes in the dream i know that she isn't supposed to be alive but somehow she came back to life.

but it is nice in the dream when i am w/ her
