  • I feel bad for it, but I'm not letting them starve in the street at least...

I took your advice, edited it a little to be cooler, and submitted this:

    • I have taken in several strays over the years. I have one on top of my arm now as I type I really need to post some pics of my cats.

      • @Jack...That was very cool. Simply amazing. I would be afraid to trust a wild cat like that, but I think that's so special. Thanks for sharing that!

Aww..I wish I could take in strays. I might save a cat from the pound soon. I know someone who has to get rid of her, and will take her to the pound if there is no home. I might sneak the kitty into my place.

@Justeazy....I like that smiley. I have used it on MSN.

        • Awwww... lion hug jack!?!

Hmmm... maybe the basic form, but not THAT one, kus I JUST MADE IT, lol...
Now if only it gets added so we can use it on THIS forums...
BTW, is there reasons behind all of the seemingly random letters used for some of the smileys : rog : for example

            • @Justeazy....No, the original one you posted looks like the one I use on MSN. Sorry for confusing ya.

As far as that, I think I once asked a long time ago, and I was told it had to do with those abbreviations and words for smilies were in another language.... I don't know if this is correct or not, I just vaguely remember hearing that. (Makes it so hard to remember the smilies. )

@Choc....I'm glad. It's so sad to see stray kitties. I once rescued a box of kittens from a gas station. No food, no water, no mother, no blanket. Just sitting in a box. Cold and alone at 1:00 a.m. In the middle of winter. (The kind of nights where frost forms.) I was SO angry!! I took them back to my apartment, and gave them a warm blanket, and some water and such. But they didn't even drink the water. They were too young. The next day I took them to a shelter for them to take care of. They were angry with me and didn't believe I found the kitties in that condition. They were only about 4 weeks old. The happy side of the story, was that the health issues they had were minor, and they all lived.

Oh, that reminds me, have you ever seen the Simon's Cat videos?

                          • Here's Simon's YouTube page. They're cartoons, but if you are at all familiar with cats and their actions, you will love them. They make me laugh and smile every time!

It shows his most recent video, and you can watch the others when you click on them below the one playing.
