  • OMB!! That's a LOT of hair to cut! You're much braver than me. And I'm SO glad you like it! How fun! I'm sure you'll get a comment about how different you look from each one of your students when you get back. "Ms. Crimson! You look so cool!!" or the always stated obvious, "WOW! You cut your hair!" LOL. I'd probably be doing the same thing, if I had jut cut mine! Have fun with it!

Oh! "Michael Clayton" a Drama/Suspense type and has George Clooney in it. I really, really liked "Mr. Holland's Opus." Good movie! Though I haven't seen it in ages. When was/is the movie due back?

    • Weell... it was due a week after I borrowed it. I've renewed it twice. It's one that I've always wanted to watch, but I have a hard time making myself sit down to enjoy a movie.

Hehe, my partner teacher (we switch homeroom classes halfway through the class) got her hair cut a few weeks ago, and one of our students told her that it didn't look good. She said, "Well, if I cared what a fifth grader thought about my looks, that might have hurt my feelings."

      • Oh, you're gonna love it!! It really is a VERY good movie! And now, you have a whole week to sit down and spend almost 2 hours watching it. That's your "homework."

ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFL!!! That's too funny!! That literally made me just laugh out loud over here. But she makes a good point!!

        • Yes. What fun things do you have planned for this week?

          • Just work....well, work and school. (I have class on Mondays and Wednesdays.) My birthday is coming up, and I am thinking of taking a day off and spending the weekend up in Reno - if weather permits. But that's about 2 weeks from now.

What about you? Any fun plans for your week off?

            • Wow! Reno sounds like lots of fun for a birthday weekend. Do you gamble?

Yeah, I've got some really exciting plans... going to the dentist, having warrenty requests finished on my home, cleaning my house... and playing with my hair, of course.

I'll probably wind up doing some work-stuff, too, because I'll be behind if I don't.

              • No, I work too hard to actually gamble. If I had lots of money, it'd be a different story. But I have a friend who lives over there, and we visit eachother when we can. He was down here the last two times, so it seems it's my turn to visit up there. We've known eachother for almost 15 years, so it's always nice to go up that way. Most I normally am willing to do is a total of $20 in slot machines. Once I won $250 on a Wheel of Fortune machine. Used it to buy new brakes for my car at the time.

Ooh! Definitely exciting. But I'm glad to hear you found a dentist. Last I recall you weren't looking forward to finding one in that area. And yes, playing with your hair is a must. Do you have any friends who are hairdressers who can help ya play with it?

                Yeah, I can understand that.

                • That's the way I'd do it... only take 20-40 dollars, only spend that much, keep anything I won separate...

Um. I haven't found one yet. I'm going to get up tomorrow morning and call a random one on my insurance, and see if they have an appointment. I don't mind going to the dentist; it's just hard to find a good one.

                  • Exactly. It's too easy for people to get wrapped up in gambling, and suddenly you have no money. I don't want to be one of those people.

Oh! Okay. I see. And I know what you mean. My dental insurance is horrible. I have a choice of two dentists, and one's a liar who wants to drill where it's not necessary, and the other has an office full of screaming patients. We need a better dental plan at my office. I hope you find a good one in your area.

                    • See, I have the opposite problem. I have over 250 dentists on my plan within 10 miles from where I live.

I thought my insurance sucked, too, when I looked at my benefits... they list how often you can get each procedure done, and it said 1 filling per 24 months! I thought, how insane! Why am I paying $35 a month for this @#$)? But... it turns out that it's one filling per tooth in 2 years.

GRR!! I'm so tired of coughing and blowing my nose... maybe I'll be visiting a doctor, too.

                      • I'm glad you have plenty to choose from, though! But it's a pain going through them deciding who you want with so many. I have had one filling about 15 years ago. Well, recently that filling started to hurt, and I went to the lying dentist. He replaced it with a different filling, and removed the silver one. (The silver one was cracked.) But that's the same guy who told me I had 4 cavities about 3 years ago. I didn't believe him, so I went and paid out of pocket for one my friend recommended. None. I had no cavities. Grrr...

Wow. And yeah, once you figure it that way, it's not so bad, huh? I hope you get a good one!

Are you still fighting that last cold you caught?! Poor thing!! *goes and gets you some tissues with lotion* I am sure I can get ya some of my online mom's carrots if you need, too. (Might be a good idea about seeing a doc. )

                        • No, this one started on Friday. Thanks.

My last dentist told me I had FIFTEEN cavities. I'd never been screwed by a dentist before, so I just assumed she was right. I had half of them "filled" by her, and had horrible sensitivity to cold drinks on that side for 6 months. I haven't been back to a dentist in over a year, so we'll see if she was right or not. Although if there were that many, I think I'd be in some pain now.

Ok, I keep thinking I see a piece of paper moving across the floor... it's time for bed.

                          • You're welcome.

OMB!! That's INSANE! How dare she!?! Grrrr.... Some people are clearly despicable! I had a dentist when I was a kid that told my mom I had 3 cavities, and my brother had 14. Mom didn't believe him, so she got us second opinions, and I had none, and my brother had 3. That's when I learned never to trust them. Poor you!! I can't believe a dentist would do such a thing. And yeah, I think you'd be hurting if you had any cavities.

LOL!! Yeah, that might be a good idea! Goodnight dear Crimson! Sweet dreams - but not of sneaky snakey papers running across your floor.
