Well Escape I still don't know what I have
I went to the doctor and got in fairly quickly 
I had to take some breathing/oxygen and temperature tests and finally go to get a chest x-ray for fear of pneumonia, Turns out it wasn't pneumonia so I had to go back to the doctor again for some more tests and he still can't identify it completely I have been given Salbutamol to take and have to go back next week if I don't get any better

I'm sorry. But I am SO glad it's not pneumonia! Cuz that's NASTY bad. I really hope you're taking it SUPER easy. Are you sleeping and resting a lot? 
I also hope the medicine helps a bit. Is it like an inhaler?

Escape - I get no sleep/rest because when I lie flat the coughing worsens It keeps me up tell 3 am every night and wakes up my family
I am taking it easy
Yeah the medicine is exactly like when I had an asthma inhaler (I outgrew asthma
) except it doesn't have steriods in the medicine

Have you tried putting several pillows under your head to prop you up and sorta keep you in an upright position? Or even sleep in the recliner (if you have one) for a few nights. I've had to do that when I've had horrible awful coughs. I'm sorry you're so sick with it.

Yeah, it can help keep the cough from its nighttime worse.
Recliners are great if you have one. Plus you can fall asleep in front of the TV.

Hey, that might be pretty comfy, too! Just get a blankie and pillow, turn on something good, have a cup of tea...and rest until you fall asleep! (I only have a couch in my living room to sit on. )
