If I want to work fast, I use Google SketchUp - it's much easier than to use other 3D software. Additionally you can download finished models and use them in freeware games.
Otherwise I use Cyber Motion 3D, but it's not free.

Well, this seems about impossible for me.
I fail at another animating software.

Yeah, it takes a lot of time and patience to learn to work with such software, I know.
Another possibility would be to use a digital camera, and make some photos - if you have one, or if there is a friend of yours or a relative who could lend you one...
