        @Raven....Yeah, I see what ya mean. My town/city is small enough that there's not a ton to do, but I am only an hour's drive from a very fun city. And yeah, I do have it.

        @Invincible Kitty....HUUUUUUUGE, COMFORTING I know how scary they can be!!! We had one a 4.1 one about 2 days ago. I'm from an earthquake prone area. Do you feel better now?

            @Invincible Kitty... Hehe.

            Glad you feel better. They can be pretty frightening. And the UK isn't used to having them, is it? I mean are they common over there?

            And how do you know they'll be another one? My understanding is there is no way of actual predictions of them....

                @Raven....1989, huh? Yeah, I remember that. (I am not far from San Francisco.) They expect an even bigger one - just can't say when. I still remember the images from the news from that day. And the Oakland/Richmond Bridge upper deck collapsed.

                      @Raven....LOL...and tornadoes freak me out! :couch-scared: I was driving two summers ago in Missouri when tornadoes were touching down nearby. (Not dangerously nearby - but probably within 20 miles), and I was practically crying trying to get back to mom's house. It was pouring!! And hailing, and VERY windy. And it was night. I was really afraid I'd drive right into one and not know it.

                      @Invincible... NO!! I don't want you to have one that strong. *gets super worried* That'd be horrible! I think you should just go with some friends to an amusement park and ride a roller coaster instead.

                      Yeah, there is always the chance of it, but probably more likely to have smaller aftershocks.

                            @Invincible Kitty....I honestly don't know. I'd have to look it up. The one that leveled a lot of San Francisco and was so tragic was measured a 7.1.
