Technically it is possible to download and save a website to your pc and browse it as if online..you could use something like HTTrack which is free to do this..but as Escapegirl and Adventure have said it would not update without internet access and would take an incredible amount of space up..
so would in the end not be worth it..would it not be possible to use a wireless connection to get access in your room..is all i can think of

So far I know, it is not possible to download the site onto your PC.
Although you can of course save an certain page onto your PC, but it wouldn't be updated, it only is a copy of the page as it was on the moment you saved it.

To my knowledge you wouldn't be able to access Gamershood offline in "real time." I think there may be an option to access previously viewed pages offline, but not that you can download. Unfortunately, you do need the internet for this.Unless someone else has knowledge out there that's different than my own - which is always possible - I don't believe you can. (I'm not the best with all things computer.

I know this may sound stupid but is there a way I could download the site onto something, and it would have updates and everything? I have a computer in my room but it doesn't have Internet!Just wondering, cause it would save A LOT of hassle.

You get to your private messages by clicking on the link at the top right corner of this page, where you also see Welcome, chauche436.
To answer a private message, just hit the Reply button, and add your message, then hit the Send button.
Hope that helps, otherwise please post again

No, I haven't tried that yet and I didn't know this was possible with FF too. I know this is possible with IE, so that's why I thought to give it a try with IE instead. (I just recently started to use FF actively)
Edit: I just saw that CCleaner is designed for IE. That's why it always delete all my FF cookies even when I uncheck the cookie option. I decide to play the riddle with IE, because I otherwise would have to delete all my private internet data manually (from IE aswell from FF) and I don't seem to be able to replace the current FF cookie.txt with an older saved version.
Now I only hope it isn't a cookie which makes it impossible for me to log out after some time.
I will try to back up the specific gameon cookie from oddpawn once more and hope now I use IE it will work. Otherwise I will have to keep all my IE cookies like forever, since oddpawn never seems to end.
Anyways, thank you a whole lot again, Damar and Mystery.Because of you two, I could localize the problem.

Hmm, you can set the options of Firefox, what private data should be deleted.
Have you already tried just to let delete the history, the secure connection etc. but not let delete your cookies?
You could still remove cookies that you don't need by using the cookie manager of FF, and leave all that are connected to the riddle.
Just an idea

It doesn't work.I made a back up from cookie (text document), deleted all my temp. internet settings (and more), replaced the new version of cookie with my saved one, but once I move around on the internet it automatically will be replaced with a new one. I am sure of this because the saved cookie file has a size of 6 KB and the new one only 3 KB. I tried it several times but my PC doesn't accept it.
I use CCleaner to get rid off all what I don't need, but even when I uncheck the setting cookies the date of the folder %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ will be removed. Of course I can decide to never remove my temp. internet settings, but if I do this, after some time, I won't be able to log out anymore from this site and because of security reasons I don't think this is wise. So I have to delete my temp. internet files once in a while.
Maybe I can better give up on this riddle.
Edit: Just thinking.. perhaps I will have more luck when I use IE to play oddpawn.

Good luck, I hope your test will work
If not, we will need to think about it once more

A big thank you to you both.I will later this evening/night replay some levels and then run a test to see if it works.
I will edit this post to let you know if it worked.
The cookie I saved stays unfortunately unusable.

Yes, you are right Damar, this would be another way to get to the cookies
So you see, Adventure, you have now 3 different options
All ways lead to Rome

I will guess you are using windows xp if not let me know
go the start button..then click on run and type this in
%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
then ok..a windows will open with the firefox profiles if you have more than one just chose yours..then you should be able to replace your cookies.txt file with the one you have already saved
hope that explains a bit better
Edit: Mystery beat me to it
