Hmmm, there are ads on the games page, but I haven't encountered any pop-ups. I have checked by completely disabling my pop-up blocker, and randomly clicking around and loading games during 10 minutes. Not one single pop-up for me
I don't know why you are getting pop-ups, have you done a scan lately for any malware and adware on your computer?

In order to post in the forums I need to allow pop-up windows from gamershood's site so that I can use tags such as spoilers and images. However a result of this is that it then allows a million pop-up ads opening up whenever I try to play a game through the home page. How can I get the benefit of the posting in the forum without being plagued by all those pop-up ads?

When you go to who's online and it says 'John' or whatever and it says 'Viewing user profile' how come you can't see who's profile?

It depends on the post, and if the member has already had previous warnings, etc. There is always a lot of discussion among moderation before any action is taken. Sometimes a member is just given a heads up about the rules, and nothing more. It all depends.

Once you have done the search and are sure it's not already here (I normally do a search of the forums, but also of the main site gamershood.com), you go to the NEW GAMES subforum and in the top right above the threads you will see the words NEW THREAD. Click on that, enter the information about the game (a title, brief descpription, and the link) and then POST IT!

I was recently googling "Justeazy's Riddle" to see if there was any recent activity on it, and I came upon this thread: http://forum.rapics.com/pc-games/533...ys-riddle.html
It is an EXACT copy of the Justeazy's Riddle thread here (as far as basic info goes) so I was wondering how they copied it, or if they are even allowed to...
It is just confusing me, I don't think it's too important, but I do wonder....

We have looked into this problem already, and it seems that the whole forums is made up of copies from several forums, also GH (and many other forums). It seems that bots have cloned the first pages of numerous threads from different forums.
We have informed GamersHood about this, too.
However, we don't know if we can do anything against it - the host is some Iranian company, and we don't know if they would react to any reports.
