Chat rooms!!!!

I was just thinking and discussing over it in another forum, that it would be too good to have a chat room in Gamershood.
As usually there are like many people here all the time,so we could chat too.
Please think about it.

That sounds rather difficult. We already have chit-chat where you can chat with other members. I will wait to see what GamersHood thinks about this.

But really now...Chatting on forums and chatting in chat-rooms is completely different.
Chat-rooms are faster and better.
You dont have to wait for all the loading and stuff.
Very simple too.

I can make a "shoutbox". But there's no need to do it before the upgrade i will do soon(because all "shoutboxes etc. will disappear with upgrade and i have to install them again).

I will try to make the upgrade soon. Then i can install the "shoutbox".

If you thought about some IRC chatrooms what requires Java plugins etc. Then i think, this is not necessary. Shoutbox is good enough.

@Addymartini, I also don't understand for sure why you bring this up. But I know we have discused this before in the following thread and the topic (and the thread) is closed. Maybe you are telling this because in this thread it seems that there is going to be a shout box?

Btw if I have to vote about a shout box, I definitively vote against it. It’s not that I don’t see the fun of it. But so far I can tell, we have only three active moderators around here, the forums are expanding every day and also the amount of members. A should box would mean more work for the moderators and I think they already have to do enough.
