Subscribing to threads

I was wondering because I subscribed to a thread and my only options are to have it sent to my email, sent to control panel and think something else...but is there any way it could be sent to like notifications?

I'm sorry if I didn't explain or ask this right.

Test result:
You don't get a notification like for PMs or visitor messages unfortunately.
However, if you click the link "Settings" on the top right of the page, you will be shown a list of your subscribed threads that have new posts.
