is it because since they are the only barber shops in town the brothers have to go to each other to get their hair cut. So the barber with the neat hair cut gets his hair cut by the messy barber shop owner. and vise versa. if that makes sense.

A man goes into a town to get a haircut. The only barber shops are right next to each other, owned by two brothers. He sits across the street, trying to decide which one to go to. One of the shops was squeaky clean and the man had a very neat haircut. The other shop was all messy with hair everywhere, and the man's haircut was not cut well at all, it was uneven and messy. Finally, the man wanting the haircut goes to the shop with the messy shop and haircut. Why did he go to this shop, and not the clean one?
