each of these letters stands for the digits 1-9
K L M
N O P
Q R S

1. the 5 odd digits are K, L, N, Q, S
2. either 1 row consists of three consecutive #'s in descending order reading left to right, or one column consists of three consecutive #'s in descending order reading top to bottom
3. M+2=P ; P-1= N
4. QxR=M
5. L is a prime number

the book actually did give the possibility of A and C being right in certain situations but all situations show B to be right so they just said B was the correct answer. So you were kinda right, but B is still the Right answer
