Technically it could be used in any room. It really doesn't fit in with any particular one, although bathroom and kitchen could usually be eliminated.

No, its not for toys either. Its a strange version of something fairly common.

Nope. Videogame controller is still the closest guess so far.

VLC: Technically yes, it can turn something on and off. Again its not its primary use though.

@VLC Nope, Jones guessed that earlier. I did edit my response though. It could be used for some games, but that is not really its true purpose.

Reading more about this, it appears this is used for people that have hand injuries or limited use of their hands. Its similar to another item Escapegirl posted earlier.
