So uhh...hey. It's been a while. What's new (or old, for that matter, given how long it's been since I've posted here)?

all is shiny and new, but still more or less the same....

[Jones]

I'm not sure if I've ever spoken to you before. And congrats on becoming a mod (again, I have no idea when you might have become one, so I apologize if this is message is long overdue ).

And I'm really sorry, but I have school tomorrow and it's basically 1:00 A.M. here in Florida. But I might return tomorrow.

Tanks and ll, nope it's been like ...hmm....(let me check) a month....grin...and no I don't think we talked before but I remember reading Your posts... so how is life with You?

[Jones]

It's been a lot more hectic now than ever before, but that's mostly due to the fact that I've accepted to carry out odd jobs for a teacher at school. Now I understand what schedulers must go through...

[Kzin]

I can imagine...I'll be moving my office this week.....it's so hectic....sometimes and than You have to sit and wait till You get some information You need to continue with the preparations. Hopefully it will be all over on Saturday.

[Jones]

Well, I like to think that all of the preparations will pay off for my school in the end, so I'm willing to do it (though it's still annoying as ever). The teacher's a really awesome person as well, so that helps too.

[Kzin]

Sounds like a lot of work....I hope it will pay out! What are You doing if I may ask?

[Jones]

Preparing for an event called Science Olympiad. I was on our school's ragtag group last year (the first group to ever participate at our school), and we somehow placed 5th at states, in spite of horrible preparations due to going on such short notice. I'm actually really interested by a lot of the events, so it's fun and tiring simultaneously. I think we have a decent shot at going to nationals if everybody doesn't put off their work.

Wow, the next Nobelprice winner....grin...hope You'll make it to the nationals...

[Jones]

Haha. Believe me, there are a lot of teams who approach this way too formally. It's a fun, enlightening experience, but the real influential work is gonna have to come from work outside of this. And thank you for the support.

That's best way to do it, just enjoy yourself and take all the experience....That's the way I used to do it...grin

[Jones]
