So, I could kind of use some prayers right about now.

They found a lump that was termed "nothing to worry about". Then, they sent me for an ultrasound that was "just a precaution because it's most likely a cyst and nothing to worry about". The day after the ultrasound, my doctor called me. Not a good sign right there. She said that it is solid and I need to make an appointment for a biopsy, but "it looks benign so there's nothing to worry about".

Needless to say, I'm worried.

I am glad that the doctor at least said it looks benign. It sounds hopeful to me, Julibean, but I am still so sorry for you. Finding out one gots something in ones body that is not supposed to be there is shocking no matter what the doctor thinks. I hope the doctor is right and that you can get rid of it soon. As for stop smoking, well, unless you insist on making this thing grow I'd say to stop smoking is a good thing Try candy and give your dentist a run for his money instead
Glad your husband will come with you for the biopsy. Let him know that he is only allowed to go with you if he is supportive. We will have bunny spies ta check on him

Said lump has been removed. Find out if it is an "evil" lump or just "confused" lump tomorrow.

Let's not get excited just yet. They've still got to get the results of the biopsy. That's not until tomorrow (the results, I mean). The good thing is that even if the results are not happy ones, it's not part of me anymore.

Oh... Lumps are not good! I bet it was just a vonfused lump that didn't mean any trouble! And if thats the case the problem has been taken care of and all this talk about lumps and sickness can end! I hope the doctors say it was a vonfused lump Julibean!
