Wow I haven't heard of him, I guess he's better known by the Americans. Checked out on Wikipedia, he was also 50 like MJ
It's been reported that his head was hit during a plane accident one day before his death, but nobody knows at this point if it has to do with his death or not. None of the passengers were seriously injured.

        Awww, I liked him.
But he got 97 which is a proud age!
        May he rest in peace.

Chocbubbles, I'm so sorry to hear of your losses. Please let me know if there's anything I can do for you.

You are so right Choco, it is depressing. As I got older I realized a new appreciation for the clergy, especially of larger congregations. I imagine not one week of the year goes by without a death in the church or in the immediate family of a church member.

That job could get depressing very fast. Thank goodness they have the faith to keep at it.

                Earthquake just off New Zealand

No reports of any bad damage so far and hopefully there won't be. I know we have a regular member from New Zealand (sorry just can't think of the name at the moment)

I hope whoever you are reads this and reports that all is well.

We have several members from NZ. Chocbubbles, Carmit, Dark Tree, xxxTaronXX, and a few others, I think.

I hope they are all okay.

I didn't realize there were that many. Many start online with us when it gets late here, around 10pm. Yes I hope everything is ok. Surely if it was bad it would be more than just a mention on the news today.

Michael Jackson's death was a homicide, coroner rules

The Los Angeles County coroner has ruled that Michael Jackson's death was a homicide involving a combination of drugs.

Not surprised. That doctor was nothing more than a highly paid dope dealer. No ethics at all. I guess he forgot about the Hippocratic Oath when all the dollar signs were flashed in front of his eyes.

                              California Wildfires

The pictures that came in this morning when it was still dark in California looked like a vision of hell. I hope everybody is evacuating.
