We have had lots of heavy rain lately, and tonight at almost 11 PM, sirens were alerting people in some villages and cities.
I've almost had a heart attack when the sirens started here, but fortunately the house we live in is not near to the river. But still we didn't know first what was wrong (if there was some chemical threat, or if there was something wrong in the nuclear power plant that is not very far away from where we live). Only after listening to the radio, we have learned what the siren warning was about.
I'm so sorry for the people who have to be evacuated here
Cool. I didn't know there was a weather channel. I live in California (US). The weather has been fairly mild. Warm but not hot. Business booms when the weather is good. I don't mind the colder temp.s since I wear a suite everyday.

For an idea that does not at first seem insane,
THERE IS NO HOPE.
The weather was warm today. By the end of the day, it started raining a little. But then it stopped. Can't say I'm not happy with this kind of weather!
