but not anymore. I can't recall I used it, but maybe I forgot where I used it.

Found the same prob with the hook and once combined... you have to choose the correct combined hook to get the item. (I had 3 ) Great game! Loved it.

@Mystery, in the room with the combat duck I can gather multiple hooks. Seems like a little bug to me.
