Hmmm...

I've used the

remote on the TV and put in the channel number from the mirror which made this weird doll pop up on screen

but now I'm not too sure what to do...

Hm. I can pick up the remote, but I don't seem to have an inventory. Annoying! Too bad, too...the game looks pretty, and an initial scan around gives some obvious targets to start poking at.

Oooorrrrr...it could be that my inventory is not that inventoryish-looking panel to the right, but

rather the purely ornamentalish shadow at the bottom.

It's not like I would suddenly misplace the thing I just had in my hand....

(Here's a novel approach: instead of just cheerfully letting everyone know I figured it out, I'm also clarifying what I've learned about the interface, which in no way lessens gameplay unless the player really enjoys the frustration of poking around futilely. See, this way the forum isn't flooded with constant repeats of the same problem, and people who only read it for answers to their questions can *gasp* get those answers without having to wait for someone to pm them. Try it sometime...no, really!)

had the same problem until I discovered that you can scroll down to the very bottom of the page and just hold your mouse above the dark strip
