Help, Cannot use remote

Hi,I know how to use the remote but keeps saying you can't do that when i try to turn on the tv. Totally frustrated here. help!!

Any ideas what else we can do before going out to avoid this grizzly end?

Have a sneaking suspicion that the surveillance camera has something to do with it

The game was never really intend to be all over the net, it kept screwing up, hence the poor ending *blush*

drag remote over TV screen until it is red ("use remote "etc.) and click.

I think it's not very nice end... what is the point of getting out when you die after you escape?
Or did I miss something and there is another end

The remote doesn't drag away from the inventory.and it just keeps saying you can't do that when i try using it. I'm totally missing something.

I had a lot of trouble too trying to use the items in my inventory. I had to try at least 10 times to get to use them (which I found very frustrating).
