So far I have found

red key, blue key, screwdriver, knife, hammer, stick, towel, letter, glass of water.
All items have been used. Found the numbers for red, yellow and blue. I'm wondering whether we need to find a number for green too.

finally got it --

close door with baseball and bat... and hit the other door with the hammer a couple times... it opens... and cat gives you key

I used the yellow key on the closed bookshel and opened it, there was the blue key.

game is impossible unless you can read the note in the locked drawer.
safe wont open at all.
cant use paper or the water either?
what was in the envelope turned out to be how to get the code for yellow.
if you can work out what the damn symbol was.

is there a yellow key and a method to activate the safe as it seems to be more by luck than anything else.
