So far I have

pen, opened and got green tube
handle, used
2 balls from the machine (I just randomly hit the arms and got lucky 2nd time)=
red tube and triangle key (used)- clue for first ball is in a book with a handle picture inside
orange tube from the box on the desk

Have more codes and code clues than I know what to do with

Ok, I've found red, orange and green fuse and now I'm stuck.

I press the hint button and it says

"2=28 or 29 is days of February. Look at the back of rhombus-box"

I'm not sure what to do..

Edit. Opened the rhombus-box and get yellow fuse.

Which ones do you have?

EDIT: NM... just realized all we need is 7... now you need to crack the code for the computer.

There is a symbol on the computer above the wording "Rainbow Machine" -a Fleur de lis (not sure if I spelt that right).

Ok, go back to the books on the shelves (the brownish ones) and note how many of these symbols are on each book (1-5) and note where the books are on the shelf b/c that will give you the letter (the number gives you the order)

For Example: the first brownish book on the second shelf has 5 of the symbol and it is on the second shelf in the second row which is the BLUE row... so the letter would be "L" (second letter in BLUE) and it will be the fifth letter in the code

Think my new printer is haunted! Instlled this afternoon - printed out two things - it worked. And a bit ago it made all this noise !! Nothing on it's screen to explain itself. It got quiet and I turned it off for tonight..
I started this game too late. Almost 1 a.m. here. & I'm evidently overly thinking ..*yawn*
