I opened the word lock, put the cylinder in where the old cylinder was and some light came out.

each of the medallions in the slots corresponding to the colour of the lights. Then return to where you found the cylinder.

I don't remember, but all four answers (in no particular order) are:

0, 9, 8, 2

One of them gets all fraction-y on you and another went into negative numbers. I do know that you don't do the modifiers in the correct order, you do them left to right when you have them written down.

I got all my medallions and the cylinder. Trying to figure out whats next/ Presumably insert medallions in slots. Some are tricky, though, to be sure of the color. I think you mentioned that earlier.
