Well I roasted the nuts and put them in the milk. Gave them to the bird but, no key. Not sure what I am doing wrong??

I'm not sure if it was the other way around

first putting into milk, then roasting.

i cant get the chipcard. i've used the ruler.

take off the grid, then highlighted the ruler in your inventory and clicked the fan to stop it?

I really did like the game. Not to hard and loved the bird feeding. Nice game.

WALKTHROUGH

1. Get the ruler on the chalkboard
2. Go to the fireplace and use the ruler to get the metal wire
3. On the top of the bottom picture, get the coin.
4. Use the coin to unscrew the four screws on the fan.
5. Click on the grid to remove it.
6. Use the ruler to stop the fan from spinning.
7. Grab the keycard. We'll get back to this.
8. Take the ruler back and take the wire and put it in the fan to sharpen it.
9. Poke the cactus with the now sharp wire. Milk will come out. Leave that there for now.
10. Go back to the fireplace. Use the numbers on the board to turn it on. If you don't know how.. it's like this:
Turn off power
press 1 button
press 2 button
Switch on power
press 3 button
switch off power
press 2 button
Switch on power
press 1 button.
11. Now, place the grid over the fire.
12. Back to the keycard, use it to get some peanuts.
13. Put the peanuts in the cactus milk.
14. Take the milky peanuts and put them over the fire on the grid.
15. Use the peanuts to feed the parrot.
16. Click on the parrot. He'll throw you a key.
17. Open the door

How do you get cactus milk?

The bird prefers milky nuts when they are roasted.
