after igniting some things i got the code for the right lock

Still missing an arm though

use matches- ignition liquid- and charcoal in ashes and put paper over heat to read code for right lock

For me it worked...put the arm to the bear, food to dog, got a key, used it-->
grey medal, charcoal, workstand....problems with the second lock(the right one)

Open door with key. Grab the stuff inside. Put coal in small bowl with lighter fluid. Ignite. Put bowl in box with sand. Hold blank paper over.

I Have all six medals, one dropped out of the shrine once the gems were place in the two holes. The Shinto Shrine was on the shelf and you are able to reach it once you have solved the bear dance.

Can anyone tell me where the kimono is, and what do I do with the discs now I have them all?

The cutain falling down seems to be a false lead, it wouldn't fall of for me no matter how much I clicked on it.

EDIT: Never mind I found it.

On the top of the bookcase, and I have been trying to get at the top of that all through the game?

Finally got out. Thanks to Hayles cracking the bear box and the collaboration of the rest on the left lock combination, here's a walkthrough:

Grab the Bear Dance memo from the tea canister on the table.
Take the Yellow Medal and the Torn Up Paper from the orange cabinet next to the Brazier. Take the Tongs from the Brazier. Grab the Metal Plate from under the rug next to the Brazier.
Grab the Green Medal and the Doll's Leg from the white boxes next to the cupboard. Take the Doll's Arm and the Metal Bowl from the cupboard.
Look behind the folding screen next to the locked closet to find the Purple Medal.
Take the Ignition Medicine from the empty bookcase shelf. Check the top row of books to find a White Piece of Paper near right-most dark purple book. Check the bottom shelf to find Matches in the left-most dark purple book. Look between the bookcase and the wall and use the Tongs to get the Gem.
Take the Gem from the box next to the bear. Look behind the curtain over the bear to get the Stick. Keep opening and closing the left curtain to find the Blue Medal. Using the Bear Dance memo, open the Bear Box:

Take the Bear Arm. Put the Bear Arm on the bear. Grab the Meat and the Doll's Body from the cabinet under the bear.
Give the Meat to the dog and grab the Key. Use the Key to open the closet lock and take the Charcoal, the Grey Medal, and the Work Stand. Use the Work Stand to get the Kimono from the top of the bookcase. Use the Work Stand to get the Doll's Arm from the top of the shelf over the Bear Box. Place the two Gems onto the Shinto altar and grab the Red Medal.
Use the Stick to open the safe hidden behind the curtain next to the Brazier. Take the Doll's Head. Use the Stick again to open the bottom drawer of the orange cabinet next to the Brazier. Take the Candle.
Put the Candle on the Candle Holder on the table. Use the Matches to light the Candle. Place the Candle under the shade and look at the shade to get two numbers.
Put the Charcoal inside the Metal Bowl, then add Ignition Medicine and use the Matches to light it. Place it in the Brazier, then hold the White Paper over the Brazier to get "Right ####" Use this combination to open the right cabinet under the cupboard. Take the Metal Sand.
Put the Metal Sand on the Metal Plate to reveal a number.

Place this number in front of the numbers you got from the Candle to get the combination for the left cabinet.

Grab the Doll's Leg.
Look at the Doll's Head, then add the rest of the parts to the Doll. Place the Doll in the Doll Case. You'll get a note.
Using the note, place the correct Medals in the slot on the door in the correct order. Upon adding all the Medals, click the grey button to unlock the door. Click on the door to escape.

Without beeing "gased"? Because I can't believe that this is the only possible ending since you can do so just by using the first medal you find.
