puzzle just worked for me. I was disappointed that the pieces automatically arrange themselves to the right orientation. Took a lot of guess work out of the puzzle.

Theory that probably won't work

Old Cuss..I tried that too. I'd think it has something to do with the computer, otherwise why would you need to get into it. Also, what's the deal with the pin that flips around and say's 9x9=81?

So the colors on the back of the cat button are the same as the tacks on the bulletin board plus the red dot in the back of the diary. It looks like at least one of the notices on the bulletin board is talking about music (it says "CD" at the bottom), which makes me wonder if they all mention music and are each linked to a different song on the computer (the list on the computer seems like a music playlist, no?). Each song on the computer is attached to a number. Now, here's my (likely way off base) theory: maybe we're supposed to take the numbers from each song, do some simple arithmetic (I say this because of the 9 x 9 = 81 clue), and put the new numbers into the locked box in the order of the colors they correspond to on the pin

So obviously I'm way overthinking this, and this idea most likely will not work. I don't even know how to test my theory because I can't read the language so I can't tell which (if any) songs the notes might lead to.
