in the diary there's an empty circle in the top corner of every page, except for the last one where it's colored red. The back of the pin shows 5 dots: green, blue, yellow, purple, red. There's 5 dots and five pages, and I think we need to fill in the blank dots in the diary somehow. Make sense?

I know there are only four empty ones, but there's five total, just like on the back of the button. I think that may be a hint that we're supposed to fill them in using the same sequence on the back of the button (the red circle is on the last page and the red circle is the last one on the button). It is true that you can't click on the circles in the diary, but maybe we're supposed to paint them somehow or stick the tacks from the bulletin board in them or something. I don't freakin' know.

Maybe we're not supposed to actually color in the circles on the pages in the diary. Maybe we're just supposed to imagine that they're the right color and then take a hint from whatever is written on the page beneath to figure out what number each color stands for. I don't know if that made sense or not, but either way I think you'll have to read this language and I just plain don't.
