On the wall of the room with a single rope is a sheet of paper
I can't remember the specifics but it's something like

Pull rope
opposite; left
opposite; right
opposite; middle

By opposite, each time it means to opposite room, so the one you're in and the other one.
the left is a rope
The right is a panel at the back of the room
And so is the middle

Again, can't remember the specifics, but it's all there on the sheet
